Greenridge is a neighborhood in Staten Island, NY, and is in the New York City metropolitan area.
It is one of Staten Island’s “quieter neighborhoods,” and it is described as “a quiet community with a mix of townhouses and single-family homes.” In the Greenridge area, 52.6 percent of the working population is employed in upper-level management, administrative, and legal work.

There are also many churches located within Greenridge, including St. Paul’s Episcopal Church and Our Lady Help of Christians Roman Catholic Church, among others.
It also has a post office, a park, and the Greenridge Commons Shopping Center.
Greenridge is also home to many parks, including Susan E. Wagner Park and Todt Hill-Westerleigh Park.

Greenridge is also known for its surrounding attractions, including the Snug Harbor Botanical Garden and cultural center and the Staten Island Zoo.
St. John Villa Academy and Curtis High School are two public schools located in Greenridge that provide education for the community’s youth.
Additionally, the New York Public Library (NYPL) system has a branch library located in Greenridge as well, called the Todt Hill-Westerleigh Branch of NYPL.
Notable residents of Greenridge include baseball player Kevin Youkilis, who grew up in Greenridge and was raised by parents Gerard and Georgia Youkilis. Also, Jerry Zucco, a local real estate broker, and Staten Island Borough Board member live in Greenridge.
